DHS/Aging's Informed Choice Process Workgroup will have its first meeting October 22, 2021, from 10 a.m. to noon, Central Time.
This meeting is to discuss ways to enhance the 'informed choice referral' visit process now being conducted with Medicaid eligible individuals in hospitals and skilled nursing facilities in North Dakota. The informed choice referral visit process is the state contact after individuals are screened at a long-term-care level of services, intended to be an opportunity to learn about the options they have for receiving services. DHS/Aging formed this group as a part of the implementation of the 2020 ND/DOJ Settlement agreement as a chance for stakeholders to provide input.
