The North Dakota Olmstead Commission will hold virtual town halls next week to discuss strengths and weaknesses of North Dakota’s services for individuals with disabilities. This process is meant to involve all stakeholders who have interest in individuals with of any age and any type of disability.
The town halls will be Tuesday, December 15 at 7 pm; Wednesday, December 16 at 10 am; and Thursday, December 17 at 8 pm using Microsoft Teams videoconferencing, with a conference call option.
A focus of the town hall meetings will be to review suggestions from the current services survey and gather additional comments and suggestions on the state’s capacity to provide long-term services and supports to individuals with disabilities in their homes and communities.
